The Law on the sale of Rodenticide for Non-Professional use is changing!

Wednesday 17 January
Concentration:

Under new ruling, all anticoagulant rodenticides sold to non-professional users are due to change from an active concentration limit of 50 parts per million (PPM) to under 30 ppm.  Therefore, all 50 ppm rodenticide products which are currently on sale to your customers for non-professional use will no longer be allowed.

Pack sizes:

Maximum legal pack sizes of rodenticides for non-professional use will change as follows:

Wholegrain bait for rats and mice: 150 g per pack
Pasta bait for rats and mice:  150g per pack
Block bait for rats and mice: 300g per pack
When:

28th February 2018 is the last day 50 ppm labelled products for non-professional use can be sold.  From 1st March these products must be removed from sale.
End users will have a 6-month use-up period (until 31st August 2018).

All organisations in the supply chain have an obligation to ensure that the law is followed, but the responsibility of ensuring that all deadlines are respected however, lies with the company selling to end users.

Lodi UK has produced a new range of 25 ppm rodenticides so that you can comply with the new legislation and your account manager is always at the end of the telephone to advise you about the changes: 01384 404242.
